More Questions...

If you’re unsure about anything, you’re not alone. Here are some of the most common questions I get – but if you’re still wondering something, feel free to get in touch.

Working together:

Who is this for?

Anyone who is looking to improve their health and wellbeing in a realistic and sustainable way.
I work especially with women and mums who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from their bodies or stuck in cycles of stress, low energy or unhealthy habits.

Finding the right coach is important. You're welcome to book an initial consultation to see if my approach feels right - if not, I'm happy to recommend other professionals who might suit your needs.

For me, being holistic means looking at the whole person — not just isolated symptoms or behaviours.
In practice, this means I:
• don’t treat issues in isolation
• assess multiple areas of life (mind, body, emotions, lifestyle, environment)
• integrate both mental and physical tools
• personalise support rather than prescribe one-size-fits-all plans
• work within my professional scope
• refer clients on when something is outside my expertise

Being holistic isn’t about collecting lots of certificates — it’s about how you think and how you work. It’s about seeing people, not problems; understanding patterns, not just symptoms; and creating supportive, realistic changes that fit into real life.

Sessions & logistics:

Do I have to have a consultation?

The initial consultation is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brought you here, what you'd like to work on, and how I can best support you moving forward.

Sessions run for about 50 minutes. The frequency of appointments can be weekly, fortnightly or as needed - we'll decide together based on your goals.

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, as this time is set aside just for you. Late cancellations may incur a fee, no show = full payment of session.

Absolutely. All personal data is secure. What you share in sessions, whether online or in person, stays private, unless there are serious concerns about your safety or the safety of others.

This varies from person to person. Some clients notice shifts in mindset, energy or habits quickly, while deeper changes take time. My focus is on long-term wellbeing, not quick fixes.

Scope & support:

Is this therapy?

No - my work is not therapy or a replacement for medical or mental health care. I offer holistic coaching and wellbeing support. I always work within my professional scope and if something feels outside of that, I will encourage you to seek support from the appropriate health care professional.

Personal trainers often focus mainly on exercise, and dietitians focus specifically on medical nutrition.
My role is different — I take a holistic, mind–body approach. This means we look at how everything connects: your thoughts, stress levels, habits, emotions, environment, lifestyle and nervous system, alongside nutrition and movement. It’s about supporting the whole person, not just one area.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or are under medical care, recommend speaking to your GP or healthcare provider before starting.
I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions and I will always refer you on if something is outside my scope.

Yes - in fact this is exactly who I often work with.
My approach is slow, compassionate and realistic. We focus on small, sustainable changes that support your nervous system, energy levels and emotional wellbeing, rather than adding more pressure or expectations.

Still unsure?

If you have any other questions or just want to chat things through, I’m always happy to help.
